(1)"I made friends with a Malang, a wise man, a bright old man, a poet." (65)
At some point we will encounter someone who just adds so much positivity and knowledge to our life. There is no age limit or a specific age for someone to be in order to be a positive impact on someone's life. (2)"He treated me and soothed me and I admired the perspective brought to the
world around him, curious and caring."(66) These are the kind of people that we should hold on to for as long as we can. Anyone who adds positivity to your life is a blessing and should be treated as such. We often take people for granted and think they will be around forever. However, things happen and people can be gone in an instant. (3)"I never saw him again." (66) It is very important to cherish every moment we have with someone and always try to make the best use of our time with them. Living in the moment is so important and it is something we should all strive to do!!

(4)"The city had been transformed, and I did not recognize it anymore."(68)
Coming home after being away for a while is always a very interesting experience. The things you used to love when you were a kid could now be destroyed or so run down you no longer recognize (5)"The bazaar I liked so much had become sad and gray."(68) Change is always an intimidating thing especially when it first happens. It is hard to know what to expect and most of the time the change is out of your control. (6)"I felt uncomfortable."(69) Being out of your comfort zone is an opportunity to either embrace the change or let it take control of us. This is a hard decision that we have to make at some point in our lives. When we first cam to UT, we had the choice to either embrace the change and learn to adapt to it or else we probably would'nt have made it to second semester. (7)"We have to adapt and overcome, that's all we can do." (Frank Knight)
them.

(8)"The whole family was together: My two brothers and their wives, my sister and her husband."(83)
Getting the family together is always an interesting time. With all of the mixed personalities, political views, and sports talk there will most likely be an argument of some sort at sometime during the gathering. Ive always wondered why families don't make the time for each other like they should (9)"After the death of my mother, they tried to be around me more."(83) When they are alive it is hard to make time for them and fit them into your busy schedule if they invite you to a graduation, wedding, or just to go to lunch. However, if someone passes away we can drop everything we are doing to go be with our family. This is something that has always confused me, because I see it within my own family. This is something that I hope changes as y generation of cousins get older. I hope we get together to celebrate the good times and not just the bad times. (10)"Family is not an important thing. Its everything!" (Michael J. Fox)
until something tragic happens.
